Information you provide directly:

  • Full name, phone number, and optionally your email address at sign-up
  • Vehicle details — type, brand, registration plate, and colour
  • Parking space details — address, type, photos, pricing, and availability
  • UPI ID or bank account number for payout processing
  • Profile photo (optional)
  • Reviews and ratings you submit

Information collected automatically:

  • Device information — model, OS version, device ID
  • Location data — GPS coordinates when you search for or list a parking spot
  • App usage data — screens visited, features used, session duration
  • Log data — IP address, crash reports, error logs
  • Booking history and transaction records
Location Access
Only while the app is in use. We never collect location in the background without permission.
Camera / Gallery
Only when you explicitly choose to upload a photo for your profile or parking space listing.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Creating and managing your NammaPark account
  • Matching drivers with available parking spaces nearby
  • Processing bookings, payments, and payouts securely via Razorpay
  • Sending OTPs for phone number verification via SMS
  • Generating unique PINs to verify parking spot access
  • Sending push notifications for booking requests, confirmations, and reminders
  • Calculating and displaying earnings, ratings, and booking history
  • Resolving disputes and providing customer support
  • Detecting and preventing fraud or misuse of the platform
  • Improving app features, performance, and user experience
  • Complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations

We will not use your data for any purpose not described in this policy without obtaining your explicit consent first.

3. Data Sharing

NammaPark does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties. We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With other users: Your name and vehicle details are shared with the parking space owner when you make a booking. A driver's name is shared with the owner upon booking confirmation.
  • With payment processors: Razorpay receives the payment information necessary to complete transactions. Their use of your data is governed by the Razorpay Privacy Policy.
  • With Firebase (Google): We use Firebase for authentication, real-time database, and push notifications. Google's data processing terms apply.
  • With Google Maps Platform: Location data is used to render maps and calculate distances. Google's Privacy Policy governs this use.
  • With SMS providers: Your phone number is shared with an SMS gateway solely for OTP delivery.
  • As required by law: We may disclose your information if required by a court order, government authority, or applicable Indian law.

📌 We never share your bank account details, UPI ID, or full payment card information with other users or unrelated third parties.

4. Data Security

We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement appropriate technical and organisational measures:

  • All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
  • Firebase Security Rules restrict database access to authorised users only
  • Payment processing is handled entirely by Razorpay — NammaPark never stores card details
  • Unique booking PINs are generated per transaction and expire after use
  • Access to user data within our team is restricted on a need-to-know basis
  • We conduct periodic reviews of our security practices

While we strive to protect your information, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to keep your phone and NammaPark account secure and to notify us immediately at support.nammapark@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorised access.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Specific retention periods are as follows:

  • Account data: Retained until you delete your account, after which it is removed within 30 days
  • Booking records: Retained for 3 years to comply with financial record-keeping requirements
  • Payment transaction logs: Retained for 7 years as required under Indian tax law
  • Location data: Not stored permanently; used only during active sessions
  • OTPs: Never stored — verified in real time and immediately discarded

You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us. Note that certain records may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as dispute resolution.

6. Your Rights

As a user of NammaPark, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

  1. Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  2. Right to Rectification: Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data

The NammaPark mobile app does not use browser cookies. However, we use the following similar technologies for app functionality:

  • Local Storage: We store your login state, preferences (dark mode, language), and basic profile data locally on your device for a seamless experience
  • Firebase Analytics: Anonymised, aggregated usage analytics to understand how users interact with the app
  • Crash Reporting: Automatic error and crash logs via Firebase Crashlytics to identify and fix bugs

For our website , we may use standard web cookies for analytics and session management. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

8. Children's Privacy

NammaPark is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. The app requires users to register a vehicle or a parking space, both of which legally require the user to be an adult.

If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at support.nammapark@gmail.com and we will take prompt steps to delete such information.
